The Eaten Cake
Dear B.S.G,
I have currently been speaking alot with my ex from 2 years ago. I left her at the time because i just didn't want a relationship and she was really into me. Within the last 2 months we have been emailing each other about 10-15 times a day while at work because we are both on-line while there. We developed a solid bond by just conversating like this and she also calls me when i'm on breaks. The problem is that she lives with her current boyfriend and she has a 4 yr. old daughter but not with him.
She says that she isn't sure what she wants and has been feeling like she is in 2 relationships at the same time. Yet even though she says she wants to chill out she will continue to call and also when out on the weekends she calls me and asks me to come to where she is with friends so she can see me.
did have a little fling about a week ago but she then felt very guilty about it. But she still continues to call. But then there are days that i don't hear from her. This is starting to bother me a little bit more than i had anticipated but have strong feelings for her at this point. What should i do? I know that they are inevitably going to split but have no idea when and don't want to end up being in another relationship and miss an opportunity. Waiting in the Wings
Dear W.I.T.W.,
It's amazing that the B.S.G. randomly chose letters to answer this morning, but still came up with a theme! It must be in the air. W.I.T.W., the Bitter Single Guy doesn't know if you read his response to W.T.N. or not, but because it's such valuable advice, he'll channel his therapist-friend again: "If they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you."
W.I.T.W. this girl IS in two relationships at the same time! How great for her! She has the security of her live-at-home-committed-relationship and YOU; playing the part of her part-time-paramour-former-love-of-her-life-DOORMAT.
Run like the wind, W.I.T.W. If this girl extricates herself from her current relationship, let her email you then. Otherwise, have some boundaries Man! Don't make the B.S.G. call out Boundary Boy.
B.S.G.
