I'm a Tool

Wisdom is here:

When it's time to pick up your toys and go home

Dear Bitter Single Guy: My girlfriend works with a guy who is flirting with her, which didn't bother me until I saw her riding with him in his car. I confronted her about it and she admitted that she was with him, but said nothing happened.

She told me that he wanted to sleep with her and she had said no. I don't think I can trust her now. Should I talk to her about this or should I just write off the relationship? -Confused And Fed Up

Dear CAFU: The Bitter Single Guy has said on more than one occasion that a crucial relationship skill is knowing when to pick up your toys and go home, so you and his other readers have come to expect this of him perhaps. Here however, the BSG wonders if this game is really over or if there are some plays left for you. The BSG believes (as many of you do) that where there is smoke there is fire and this girl seems extra smoky.

CAFU you need to talk to your girlfriend about this and tell her that you don't buy her puny platitudes about how she's busy defending her virtue and your relationship by riding around in this guy's car with him. Likely she's enjoying the flirtation and could be egging on this Randy Romeo just enough to keep him involved.
